I've had a huge desire to
start a blog for a while now...and here I am finally! My own little piece of
the web!! I'm excited, and I hope the good Lord gives me the strength to
sustain this.
So a lil' about
me....weeeelllllll, this is going to take long...maybe not the writing but
perhaps the thinking...So who am I? Here goes....
My name is Chimdi
Rosemary Bridget Okolo (it is worthy of note to say I hate "Rosemary"
mainly because Nigerians suck at pronouncing it...hehe) anyway, that's me name
wise. I was born in Lagos, Nigeria and raised in Brazil, Tanzania and Nigeria.
I went to so many schools I cannot remember, but I know it started with my
daycare Ursino Felix Brasilia and the last three being Laureate
International school Tanzania, Regina Pacis Girls' College Abuja and Madonna
University Okija.
So about me.... Initially
I would have told you that I'm a person who likes to keep to myself and no
matter who you are, if you annoy me I will open my big mouth and give you a
piece of my mind...but I've been doing a lot of self-adjustment recently and I
can say now that I am a demure and agreeable person, I love to laugh, thus
that's the way to my heart. I'm not a party animal (but I can drop some bad ass
moves), generally I like a good discussion/other activities with agreeable people
who love to give and take. I dislike people who do not understand the word
"compromise" and people who hear but do NOT listen and I no longer
waste my breath on people who do not deserve it....yep!
I am also very excitable…lol.
When I like something or someone I tend to grab on with both hands and I don’t
let go. So expect a lot of rants on things going on in my world, sometimes it
will be coded rants *wink wink* and some days, I’ll be throwing caution to the
air and just doing me…
Most importantly though,
I have an unhealthy obsession for retro/vintage clothes and I'm also
unapologetically addicted to anything that smells of strawberry, especially
soap, body washes and body sprays.
So this is basically going
to be a crazzzyyy ride… hold on tight!
